If you've never fully understood the connection between organized crime and labor unions, here's a good look at a father son duo in Vegas that blended crime with unions.

Neither the mob nor the Democratic Party like actual labor advocates. They prefer a large, well-funded machine composed of parastatal bureaucrats posing as labor leaders running the money machine from which they can draw.

Didn't click the link, but I assume it's about Harry Reid.

Labor unions are the perfect segment for the democrat party. The so-called leaders are easily manipulated and used for campaign cash, and the labor themselves are even more easily extorted for votes due to their intrinsic hatred of management. (d)emocrats have done a wonderful job over the years aligning management with Republicans, for some reason, when, in fact, they themselves have controlled a big segment of industry -- media, tech, Wall Street, entertainment, etc. However, the typical person in labor is neither smart enough (sorry but its true) nor politically astute enough to know they've been had.

The next combo of Republican Congress and President needs to outlaw PUBLIC sector labor unions and collective bargaining. Private sector union membership is so low, unions will cease to exist in the coming decades. There's no reason for public sector unions in the first place. This not only ends of a big source of organized crime, it rids the democrat party of a huge source of power.

It's not Harry Reid and the article has nothing to do with politics…just straight up extortion and skimming and other shady stuff.

Not about Reid, but Culinary Local 226 was a big part of his political machine.
