between Scaramucci, Roger Stone, Michael Cohen, John Bolton

how many people turn on Trump the more they know him? about every single cabinet appointee and DOD employee, much less the Deep State.

so many of the people that Trump CHOSE to surround himself with are total sc@mbags...

wouldn't it be nice to have a nominee we are not embarrassed about supporting?!?

He picked people off of a list that actual conservatives sent him. Good for him I guess.

This achievement isn't automatic.

That's 226 vs the first term nominations for other presidents:
Obama: 160
W: 161
Clinton: 183
HW Bush: 187
Reagan: 179

A) This doesn't look staged at all.

B) color me shocked to find out that a lot of the really powerful/successful people near the top aren't "good" people. I don't think Trump hires based on loyalty and niceness.

At some point the CMs are going to figure out why the establishment is petrified of Trump.

(Hint) Because he isn't part of the swamp and can potentially expose their sham.

They'll be talking about Trump 5 or 10 years from now because they just don't have anything else.

Stone being angry at Trump must make TDS-infected sheeple soooo happy. I wonder if it somehow vindicates them so they can justify to themselves that they actually did the right thing by voting for a half-century career politician corrupt swamp rat so he can spend trillions during an inflationary period, open the border for +4 million illegal aliens to waltz across unfettered in less than two years, destroy the industry of our most valuable natural resources, give the taliban an entire country and arm them, bring us to the brink of nuclear Armageddon over a dispute in Biden's eastern European money laundering playground, and really bring Marxist division population control tactics to the next level by vilifying and imprisoning political opponents. Congrats on ex-Trump appointees or associates being mad at Trump! Yay! America is back, baby!

it also vindicates Republicans who have been claiming for 2.5 years that Trump is not a good Presidential candidate.

It's frankly pathetic that so called "conservatives" can only resort to trying to slander genuine Republicans whenever the flaws of Trump are pointed out.

In fact, I have been a Republican since 1996 and have contributed thousands of dollars to Republican candidates, including voting for Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020.

It would be nice if our side didn't have to resort to the insanity of the left, mindlessly calling anyone they disagree with slanderous insults.

Does it not make any of the Always Trumpers perhaps think for JUST ONE SECOND,

that perhaps the Republicans who don't want Trump to run again actually HAVE JUSTIFIED FACTUAL REASONS.

versus your emotional outbursts?

The reality is that this country is in an economic mess with a war raging in Europe.

How it was under Trump is how I wish it was.

Explain to me how that makes you more intelligent?

We'll win this war, but we'll win it only by fighting and by showing the Germans that we've got more guts than they have, or ever will have. We're not going to just shoot the sons-of-b******, were going to rip out their living G*******d guts and use them to grease the treads of our tanks. We're going to murder those lousy Hun c********** by the bushel-f****** basket. War is a bloody killing business. You've got to spill their blood or they will spill yours. Rip them up the belly. Shot them in the guts.

Trump's inability to manage personnel (quite a different task from selecting judges for lifetime appointments) is the key reason why I will be pulling hard for DeSantis to enter the race. I'd certainly vote for Trump over Biden, but I just can't imagine who Trump would get to work for him in a second administration.

eta Biden will likely have over 200 nominations his first term. It is unlikely that he will have another Supreme Court nomination this term. Three in one term is quite the achievement that was not automatic but the new congressional etiquette makes taking and holding the Senate far more important than in times past.

Newsflash. Starting a thread flaming at Trump and then calling his supporters always Trumpers and fanatics and unitelligent isn't going to win any of them over. If your real goal is to avoid Trump being the nominee, better to support your preferred candidate and then let him convince people that still want Trump to run that Trump isn't the best candidate.

And I say this as a firm DeSantis supporter. Give him time this primary season and I am convinced he will prove himself to be the best qualified candidate for the job, and he won't have to bash Trump or his supporters to do it. The cream will rise to the top.

Not sure you truly understand the depth and breadth of the GOP establishment stonewalling Trump during the 2016 campaign cycle. Nobody within the conservative or GOPe took his campaign seriously. Almost the entire GOP universe was working for Cruz, Jeb, or Kasich. Jeb endorsed Cruz when he dropped out.

Trump was only left with bottom feeders like Stone and his own people. Even his funders were outsiders of the GOPe. Peter Thiel was not a GOP insider. The mypillow guy, not an insider. Robert Mercer(Parler and Brietbart) was probably the most insider funder Trump had that I can recall off the top of my head. But even Mercer was and is a newer known heavy financial hitter within GOP and Conservative politics and media. Mercer is the person that introduced Bannon to Trump.

Some users around here claim that Trump was an insider by virtue of his money, donations, place in NYC social life, and business dealings. He really wasn't a legit political insider before 2016. Especially not with the two major political parties. His leanings were of the Reform Party variety dating all the way back to the mid90s. The Reform Party people were never beltway or major political party insiders. The entire genesis of the party was as an anti major political party. It was the more successful Libertarian party in terms of its opposition to Dems and GOP.

You don't build a strong GOP political network doing, saying, and writing the books Trump did in the 1990s and early 00s through 2008/9.

It became clear after the fact that when insiders started to jump on board post election victory, Like Bolton for instance, it was their sense of "duty" to save America and the World from Trump "ruining things".
