You gonna trust doctors after seeing how much of the medical industry acted during covid? And now you have med schools doing Woke cult indoctrination....
Holy crap, that's absolute garbage!AgBQ-00 said:

If its that important to try to do that you could tell by how certain topics go if they come up. Doesn't even have to be that direct. The MLB actions were one case where it accidentally arose talking about the Rangers.XXXVII said:

Refuse to answer then I refuse to pay you to treat me.XXXVII said:

I've been in practice 25 years and have only been asked that once. Of course, it was right before the 2016 election. A very annoying patient of mine started talking about politics, and she asked me who I was going to vote for. She told me that, if I answered "incorrectly", she would leave my practice and see another doctor.Spotted Ag said:
I haven't trusted the medical field for a very long time. One of the first questions you need to ask a doctor is, where do you fall on the political spectrum.
Quote:
- Incoming medical students at the University of Minnesota gave a pledge vowing to 'honor all Indigenous ways of healing'
- They also promised to fight 'white supremacy, colonialism, gender binary, ableism and all [other] forms of oppression'
- The students committed to 'promoting a culture of antiracism' and acknowledged that the university was built on Dakota land
- The pledge was led by Dr. Robert Englander, the associate dean for undergraduate education, at the school's white coat ceremony
- It was apparently created by the students themselves, university officials say
This is not mainstream, everyday doctors practicing medicine. Or the majority of med students.AgBQ-00 said:

But your profession is being populated by woke cultists more and more. My wife is an Nurse (BSN) and sees it all around her. It's a very lonely place for her at times.Kool said:I've been in practice 25 years and have only been asked that once. Of course, it was right before the 2016 election. Ordinarily, I would probably say that was none of her business and move along. Just because of how she asked the question, I considered it a "win-win proposition". I could be honest, and lose an annoying patient in one fell swoop. I answered her question "incorrectly", according to her politics. She did not follow through on her threat, and she knows that politics are "off topic" whenever she comes to my office (which is frequent).
My office is full every day. If someone does not want to see me because of where I fall on a political spectrum, they can just see someone else. This is still America, at least for the time being.
I think a nuanced answer is acceptable, with more and more doctors admitting there are/were issues with COVID vaccines.Detmersdislocatedshoulder said:

We have to allow people (both patients and providers and even people in government) to be retrospective on this and change positions ..... elsewise, what is the point of the debate and discussion around it? It is OK to turn an adversary into a co-belligerent. Read Sun Tzu.

i have read Sun Tzu multiple times. i understand your point however no one is or has moved on these positions. if you were for the jab for the most part you still are if you weren't you never were. lines have been drawn in the sand and ther is not many places with more defined lines at this point than the medical establishment. they lost all respect in my opinion based on the covid 19 fiasco. so if a doctor is or was for the jab he or she is a moron plain and simple. they absolutely lack critical thinking skills and i don't want someone who lacks critical thinking skills as my doctor
. honestly would you?
