That is how it should work, however with a Soros DA, that outcome is likely to get the trespassing protester a walk and the football player charged with assault. The only conundrum for the Soros DA is that the protester was white and the player that knocked the protesting player is black.

The trespassing protester and the NFL player will not have one charge placed against them, and the result will be more protesters until someone really gets hurt.

Wonder if team and/or NFL steps in to defend in that situation? Not sure what they employment relationships are in the NFL.

I wrote a paper about this in college. When you step on that field you are making an understood sacrifice of some of your rights. If a Linebacker hits a QB so hard that he breaks his ribs, so be it. But you do the same thing to someone in a mall parking lot and it's assault.

When you cross that white line on the field, you forfeit some of your rights

Now, if a dude grabs a chair and smashes you, that's not something that happens during the "normal course of a game".

Protestor was lucky it wasn't Mike Curtis or Dick Butkus from back in the day. Curtis clotheslined some fan at Memorial Stadium.
