Ha had him at an A&M party. He was picked up at Hobby late. Demanded fried chicken. They were just closing. Found out it was Coolio and he got the chicken with the most excited workers in the history of the world.

Saw him about 15 years ago at Duck Jam in College Station when he opened for Willie Nelson. It was such an odd pairing for a concert.

Crazy Coolio story.

I was a week into Marine Corps boot camp at MCRD San Diego in 2002. We were crammed into chow line when I looked over and saw Coolio in cammies getting yelled at by a Drill Instructor. I was already an emotional wreck and this sight just blew my mind. Thought for sure the stress was making me hallucinate but as it turned out he was on a reality tv show that went to boot camp for a few days.

Cool story bro!

I worked that show as a Wolf Pen Creek employee and can say he was one of the nicest and most gracious acts I saw come through. Didn't turn a single person down for a picture and just seemed happy to be there.

Ha he was barely alive at the show I saw him at. So much drinking and smoking that it was amazing he performed a song

Went into cardiac arrest is the initial report. Previous drug use likely listed in the future coroner's report. Who knows what a tox screen will show.
