Ron DeSantis Trails Democrat Charlie Crist in New Poll After Migrant Flight (msn.com)

A new poll out of Florida shows that the recent move by Governor Ron DeSantis to transport migrants from Texas to the Northeast could come back to haunt him in his re-election bid against Democrat Charlie Crist.

After months in the lead, DeSantis trails Crist by 6 points in a poll by The Political Matrix and The Listener Group. If accurate, it would represent a wild swing in the race. A landline poll of likely voters from The Listener Group in June of 2021 showed DeSantis with a nearly double-digit lead over all potential Democratic opponents, meaning the move to ship migrants would have resulted in an almost 16-point shift in the polls.

If this is remotely accurate America is too far gone, then just flush it down the ****ter.

Right, 10-15 point swing over that is such BS. This isn't California or New York who think the flight was basically shipping them to Auschwitz.

Right. Seriously, given the postive reaction even among those on the border here in Texas its a cinch the Floridians are not put off by it.

This is the kind of poll designed to try to make plausible deniability for "fortifying."

Exactly anybody can create a poll and survey people where they know they're going to get the results they want to get. these posters have agendas they are not bi-partisan

It would be like a company who really wants the University of Texas to be the number one school in the state as far as popularity so let's only survey people in Travis County forget about the other 253 counties and we won't have to tell them that we only did the survey in Travis County

The only people with landlines still are 60+ yrs old. If this guy is using landlines to conduct his polls then there's a serious bias in the results right off the bat.

Unfortunately there are a good number of old Democrats in the Miami-Dade/Broward/Palm Beach Counties and Orlando area.

Desantis is not losing this state to Crist.

Florida fixed its elections after shenanigans in 2018. If they could have stolen Florida in 2020, they would have.

Unlike the states they've "fortified" to cheat again, Florida isn't one of them.
