She was incredible. A woman of pure grace, very intelligent, and had a strong will.

She could have hid out or gone to the U.S. for safety during WWII but chose to serve her country in the ATS as well as participating in broadcasts to boost morale.

She was the epitome of a life so very well lived.

The world could use more like her today.

I'm a fan of the Queen. Grand ol lady. But the royal family is mafia. Throughout their history they have been manipulative and ruthless. Its fascinating to me that the average Brit is OK with not just supporting them but allowing them to live lives of extravagance.
