Why are they acting like this? It's actually getting pretty scary. I preferred things when it was just frustrating and infuriating, but this is scary. They are acting super desperate out of f-ing NOWHERE. This is WAY ratcheted up from just a week ago. I never thought I would see anything like this in my lifetime. He is talking about me and the vast majority of my family and friends like we are sewer rats. This goes WAY beyond Hillary and Obama's smears against half of the country. This is trying to paint us as evil to the core and put targets on our backs.

I am not necessarily talking about a Reichstag Fire or several smaller false flag events necessarily when i say something big...are we about to experience some truly hard times and they are scrambling to blame what is to come on the right?

PS - I challenge any leftist to find any instance of a Republican leader straight up demonizing half of the country like this. The closest I can think of is Reagan's famous quote on the problem with leftists..."that they know so much that isn't so". That was playful, so please don't come with that weak sauce.

Yep. They aren't about to let go of their power. Biden just declared war on anyone opposed to their agenda or who might be a threat to their electoral majority.

That is why using it to unite the Right trumps all other squabbling, (pun intentional).

Never disarm and understand that the agenda you have seen is so malevolent opposing it shouldn't even feel odd.

Trump's antics now are very secondary; his penchant to not manage closely what doing is just a distraction. This is a Left vs Right clash brewing.

I could see them doing some mass raid or arrest of Republican Senators and House members that questioned '20 election or especially if they talked to Trump about it during the lame duck period. They could say they were "defending Democracy" by imprisoning its greatest threats. They'd have nothing but it could harm re-election chances.

Dem voters have been conditioned to believe that opposing the regime is treason. They would cheer it on.

After his speech tonight its amazing that trope still continues. That was absolutely focused.

A tinfoil view that the inability is feigned even makes more sense.

In any case his impairment is not as great as many paint.

A similar trope is this assumption Kamala is worse. Facts not in evidence that she is more evil. She might be, but her biography sounds far more opportunistic and shallow. By default that type is less evil because less Machiavellian capable.

Making this election about Trump is the only prayer they have of salvaging the midterms and their seats. It is pure politics.

They are not going to "do" anything beyond try to scare people about Trump to motivate their base and get moderate votes. Well that and piss off republican voters and cause them to talk about Trump thereby playing into the left's hands.

It's just straight fear tactics as a hail mary to try to salvage the midterms.

They already spied on his campaign, appointed a special prosecutor on a known lie, impeached him over nothing, and raided his home over a presidential record archives dispute.

The FBI is eager to start working for one side over the other.

The Jan 6th folks are being held in conditions that aren't legal and they aren't allowed to talk to their lawyers.

For the hard times comment. This will come in various forms.

Food:
Dealing with a bad drought which means harvests will be lower. Coupled with global food insecurity, there will be higher demand for the US to export more. And couple that with a fertilizer shortage next growing season will be somewhat impacted. Whennit comes to growing protein, the feed inputs for beef/pork/bird will also be impacted along with rising fuel prices to get things from A to B.

When it comes to standards of living. We rely ona global supply chain. When that is seriously disrupted, finished products can't be made. So there won't be anything on the shelves. And less textiles and other rando cheap goods. The higher the tech and more complex the supply chain the higher opportunity for it to be disrupted.

Energy, here were just shooting ourselves in the foot. We can be energy independent but the politics of the day are pushing us into scarcity. Europe is feeling this now. And we're in a much better position but there isn't the willpower to leverage our natural resources. Instead go 'green' which utilizes long supply chains in hostile countries.

These three things alone will result in a degraded standard of living in the short term. Long term remains to be seen. The world we knew is rapidly changing.
