You also never used to see openly gay couples. You had to hide that part of you. There were people like this advocating for gay marriage when you were a child. They were a minority. Now that it is more socially acceptable, there are more homosexuals living openly and many more allies than there used to be. I'm going to assume you will not disagree with this.

I think there is a clear line between adults consenting to a relationship and exploitation of a minor, which is not consensual.

To equate gay marriage with pedofilia is a Russian talking point, typically reserved for uneducated people to fuel their homophobia.

Societal decay didn't happen overnight and has many steps and Just because someone is not there to see every step doesn't mean they weren't there at some point along the way.
