I'm going to copy/paste what I posted on the Entertainment Board:

Makes me sad, makes me feel old.

I was a member of Town Hall, which, back when dinosaurs walked the campus, was the MSC group that put on concerts at A&M.

So I worked (ushered, etc) when she was live in concert at G. Rollie White BB arena. She was every bit as cute and charming on the stage, as she was in any movie or TV appearance. She seemed to enjoy the crowd, and when someone "whooped" at her, she tried to copy it back. Brought down the house.

Just a wonderful concert, and if I wasn't in love with her before, I was after.

Rest in Peace, dear lady.

One of my favorite movies as a kid. What I remember most was my mom and her friends sitting in the back of the theatre laughing so hard. It definitely brought memories back of high school for them.

My mom answered that she just hoped my brother and I didn't understand what most of the lyrics meant.

Try to get into a health club after this.
Granted I did find a new appreciation for women in neon color tights and leg warmers.

She was a talent.

You don't think about that as a kid watching movies and music videos.

Politics related because I have no idea what ONJs politics are. I like not knowing. I wish her generation had passed along that value.

I can remember her when she still sung some country music. And of course my generation loved Grease, they seem to be making that the focal point of her career. But she's done so much more than that.

Let me be there it's still my favorite song by her.
