This is actually good evidence of how the left viewed Bush - just like Trump. Not some nostalgic way like he is praised today by democrats as the "goood ole days."sharpshot said:

tucker and stewart do essentially the same thing. the key difference is tucker's audience doesn't recognize it's satire.

Youre right. Silcon Valley & Hollywood are locked and loaded at defcon 5. Nov is coming fast and they burned all their political capital in '20 to elect an obvious Alzheimer's patient and a token who has a nervous breakdown every time the cameras turn on.TxAgswin said:He left the Daily Show to spend time with his family.Sid Farkas said:

He turned down all three networks that were throwing outrageous amounts of money at him to host their late-night shows.
Apple TV won't disclose what they paid him to come out of retirement to do like six shows a year.
My man Jon is doing just fine.
Just watched and you are right. Stewart was actually quite right that the shows that should have been asking those kind of questions were not, and to expect his show to do it was a bit warped. Have to admit laughed when he made his point "but my show the lead in is puppets making crank phone calls" to make his point. Stewart was also right that the handlers of each candidate were "not making honest arguments" and right about that the more serious shows were missing an opportunity to set up a debate to "pull the politicians off their marketing strategy"Dan Scott said:
Damn that was awful. I agree with Stewart's point, but the way he delivered it just came off as a giant dewshbag.

Well, if you are talking about the Crossfire interview, you win. Stewart wasn't being satirical.Chips2003 said:Old McDonald said:

I'll bet any amount of money you want, that the majority of Stewart's audience didn't realize it was satire.
Just ignore these leftist trolls. Their opinions are worth as much as used toilet paper.Line Ate Member said:Thanks for telling me not to take anything you say seriously without telling me to do so.sharpshot said:
