In the ancient past, eunuchs were typically given positions of high import, if they proved to be trustworthy to the ruling class. The personal attendants of the rulers were typically the best of the best of the eunuch class. Just think of Putin, and how he keeps his distance from pretty much everyone. The few people that drive him around, make his food, clean his house, etc. would have been eunuch's in ancient times. Eunuchs were actually considered to have some significant shadow power, as they had the ear of the ruler(s) on a day-to-day basis. In some governments, eunuchs had actual demonstrable political power, as they were assigned to such tasks as the accountants for female royalty, and basically managed their affairs and lives. One can surmise why such positions were filled by men without genitals.
The truth though, is that there were thousands of eunuchs that were forcibly created compared to the dozens that actually held positions that lead to financial gain. Eunuchs were created from conquered nations or the children of slaves of royalty. Many died in the conversion process. We know that the process was pretty wide-spread, and that few rose to positions with exposure to royalty. Most were likely emasculated slaves, working in the fields and whatnot.
During the medieval period, castrating male slaves was the norm for the ottoman empire. Something like 15 - 20 million slaves were cut, and made to work themselves to death. Castration had a very high mortality rate, from 70% to 90% depending on the historian. They were less than cattle. In the dark history of America, the practice was not unknown in the slavery of the south, but it was rare. For the simple reason that eunuchs couldn't help make more slaves. Slaves were valued in the slavery south, not so much in the ottoman empire.
It blows my mind that men would voluntarily go through this ordeal in 2020. We have something very wrong with our culture if men have decided that this is our best option. Part of it is the absolute social hate of the white heterosexual man. Something has convinced a small minority of these to escape that category by cutting off their junk.
It also pains me to see these few people used as not much better than cattle to amass political power. These men and women are obviously going through a great deal of emotional pain to take such drastic medical measures. And our society parades them about as idols as a means to subjugate those that have the courage to resist the authority of the ruling class.
I have no ill will towards these men. I mourn our society that we are creating them, elevating them, and using them as a blunt club to demoralize great swaths of our population.
