Israelis have a stronger ancestral claim to the land there than the Palestinians.

Regardless of Biden's bumfugling (word not in the dictionary), it's not as much about the US/Israel relationship weakening as it is Israel preparing to go even more offensive against Iran. Russia is a major supporter of Iran as it prepares for a very intentional and direct nuclear attack on Israel. Israel knows it better than anyone and I strongly believe that between the two countries, Israel will be the first to execute a major strike in the very near future. My personal opinion here.
