He failed to follow the lockdown laws he imposed in the country. He handed out a high ranking position to a person he knew was being investigated for sexual misconduct. He had to go.

He was virtually gifted the PM position over Brexit, then proceeded to act like the rules don't apply to him. He's only out because of his own arrogance.

True. Long term our best chance is if there is some subdivision that jettisons the most falling apart; the way the Roman Empire went on by being a bit reduced in size and more on the same page. Alternatively, a wide change in the controlling narrative class might be able to reboot the present. Time-history will tell...
