Evidently, some huge trust issues, mass resignations by his ministers.

Not to mention one of his appointees accused of some kind of sexual escapades.

This whole takedown of Johnson has been based on the takedown of DJT -- all because the Commies and Euro-suckers in England want to undo Brexit.

It was a pretty good run for England. They rode coal to rule the world and coal's peak in 1913 and WWI knee-capped the empire.

Discovery of the North Sea oil and gas kept the charade going for a century but time is almost up.

England is a mashup of immigrants with no love of land or country and natives who are losing their way, and things are going to get real interesting as energy gets scarce over the next 3 decades. No Tory or Labor PM can stop what is coming. (America has a slim chance to avoid England's fate, due to size and resources, but we have some tough times ahead too).

He should be ousted. Dude was partying during COVID in 2020/2021 while he had the country locked down!

Quote:

As news of discos in the basement and wine bottles being brought in by the suitcase filled the front pages public anger grew. The resentment toward Johnson and his staff reached fever pitch with the report that staff had been partying the night before Prince Philip's funeral -- a particularly painful juxtaposition with the images of Queen Elizabeth seated alone, abiding by the COVID-19 regulations as she said goodbye to her husband.

In sum, the UK has a huge culture problem that has/will destroy it. Very similar to the US.

Don't agree. He needed to go. He's no better than the globalist dems in this country.

England has no Conservatives like Thatcher -- that concept died in the 80s. Johnson is about as good as it gets in the useless Tory party (but still better than the EuroCommieTrash that is Labour)

Boris lost his way and cozied up to globalists during Covid. Very disappointing.

And he keeps lying when asked direct questions
The most recent ones about the whip appointment look like the lie that broke the camels back

Partially true, but let's be real: BJ did this to himself. He took whatever legacy he might have won from BREXIT and squandered it away by falling in with the covidians.

What would it take for Joe Biden to resign?

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

In terms of beliefs, Johnson would align most closely with a moderate democrat with a tinge of left lean on a few issues. Certainly no conservative.

So, who take his position and for how long?

He failed to follow the lockdown laws he imposed in the country. He handed out a high ranking position to a person he knew was being investigated for sexual misconduct. He had to go.

He was virtually gifted the PM position over Brexit, then proceeded to act like the rules don't apply to him. He's only out because of his own arrogance.

Honestly, did Brexit really matter? Stay in the EU or not, it matters not. I thought old Boris was a lover of liberty, but he proved during COVID he was not.

True. Long term our best chance is if there is some subdivision that jettisons the most falling apart; the way the Roman Empire went on by being a bit reduced in size and more on the same page. Alternatively, a wide change in the controlling narrative class might be able to reboot the present. Time-history will tell...

(Do not know about the take-down of PM -- not commenting on that as "True" fyi)

That's the neat thing about the European way --- the members often can go at the same time, and both Biden and Kamala would be going. In this case, its an internal conservative party revolt.

Correct. That's just a slur of the political-press class side now and should be ignored. Don't let it be used to destroy your culture.

The way PMs leave office is always a mess. You don't get voted out or just reach two terms like Presidents do. You get ousted.

Even the great Margret Thatcher got forced out of office. I can't remember the last PM who left on their own terms.
