None of those steps were expected to do or will do much to slow the gun violence plague, dramatically lower prices at the pump or bring back abortion rights in states where the procedure is being outlawed.

And all of that is increasingly frustrating Democrats, who argue they voted Biden into office to enact change and are unhappy with the results.

No president is a king or dictator. They are there to execute the aims of the executive branch.

No govt will solve our problems. We must solve our problems. We won't because there are few agreed upon truths on which to build solutions. But there's still a chance. Govt has no chance of solving problems. It's not in its interest.

I love how this article (and others like it) is one big pity party where poor ol' Joe is the victim. All that was missing was "Republicans pounce!"

Are these the same people who keep being surprised when the bad results of economic policy happen "unexpectedly"? The man has over 4 decades of political behavior to look for in how he will "lead" and they are surprised that he is an idiot?

Joe has done a lot. We have runaway inflation and have entered a recession. The costs for basic necessities (food, gas, electricity) are up substantially more than the headline inflation numbers. All of this is due to Biden's policies. He said he'd shut down American energy and he made a lot of progress in that regard…so he fulfilled a big campaign promise.

But yes they did lose a SCOTUS case so one item on his agenda wasn't accomplished. I'm sure that's frustrating for them.

What's really funny to me is it's highly likely no one in the Biden family (maybe) has figured out Biden's party has used, and is using, Biden as a sacrificial lamb to keep Bernie from being the nominee.

The power brokers in the party, not Biden or his family, were apparently gung ho to get the presidency at any cost assuming the judges he could nominate was the most important topic. Not to mention the social experiments they wanted to force on 50% of American's.

That's a very insightful and sage observation. The proof lies in how the DNC-MSM basically ordered everyone out of the race in March 2020 and crowned Biden. But the real proof came when they selected a VP that the DEMOCRAT VOTERS DID NOT WANT. In fact, had been forced to drop out early.

Naturally, if a Democrat voter, the VP was not enough to not then vote for Biden in November, but they absolutely did not want her.

So you are right that it had an anti-Bernie orientation from the start, no less than anti-Trump. Remember the MSM panic about his gains --- and its often forgotten that the Democrat primaries saw the testing of the vote result `massaging' methods.

The Dems implement stupid and reckless policies with inevitably damaging results and then vilify their political opposition and attempt to blame conservatives for the outcomes the Dems have caused, and then utterly refuse any reasonable compromise solution because it isn't radical enough, and they are shocked when they can't accomplish any positive results?

Democrats ban oil drilling and don't enforce laws. Why do they believe gas prices or crime would go down? They are fools.

It's not in Biden's power in the first place to deal with these things. It's congress's responsibility. He is just there to help them expedite the process of any laws they want to try and pass.

Where he does have immense power is our foreign affairs. He is failing with pretty much every single issue that is currently being handed to us.

i do not think joe is getting his due to be honest. he is doing exactly what he and his handlers set out to do. he is fundamentally changing and destroying this country. that's his goal. so based on that premise i would give joe an A+.

How is all of that stuff on Biden? It just shows that our Legislative branch can't get the laws passed that Biden would like. Welcome to how our government was designed to work, Dems. Our President isn't a King. Our government has to work together, debate and compromise to pass bills into laws.

Thankfully, the radical legislation proposed by the libs doesn't have enough support in Congress to make it through.

True. And if the day comes they succeed at last in mortally weakening the Constitution, reinventing it, or packing the court, etc, then its time for several states to just say peacefully, "enough already, we are done. Don't worry - commerce will continue" and walk out.
