What is so disingenuous is they never spell out what was supposedly taking place. Democrats do that alot with their accusations --- a great deal of innuendo, no specifics.
What was the goal of the massed unarmed riot if it had a "goal"? If overthrowing the govt had been their goal, isn't it obvious they would have showed up more equipped for that and also had a sense of endgame?
Is it not blatantly obvious that it had more in common with a Left anti-WTO or police protest that was then hijacked and escalated? Arguably came even less intending violence than a BLM mob does? And still having no real end focus or use??
Put even simpler, even more TLDR: If Trump intended to overthrow the govt, why didn't he set it up where it could? Its not that the charge is so unbelievable --- its that the evidence of no such coherence is foremost.

I know a woman in San Antonio who went to Trump's rally on January 6. She said that everyone there was in good spirits and all were singing patriotic songs. When they started their march to the Capitol, to continue the peaceful rally they had been having, that people who had not been at the original rally starting joining the march. She said these new people were armed and wearing military gear and the tone of the "rally" immediately changed. Many, like her, stopped short of the Capitol because the environment was no longer peaceful.
Where is a copy of the memo? What other backing evidence is there (bus companies used, statements from drivers, participants, anything?)?

You saw videos of obvious Antifa (or intel provocateur types) smashing windows of the west facade but south of the action in the center that a blogger was able to document were black bloc types that the real Trumpers were even trying to stop.
There was plenty of evidence at the time. Those who keep asking for it now have missed the window when you allow a one sided faux inquiry like this.

The armed people did not go through the metal detectors. Not sure which side they were on but lots of people stayed outside of the official rally because of the magnetometer and security presence

The aftermath of RSBN's coverage actually continued and they showed a long leisurely somewhat festive walk by the rally attendees toward the Capitol. You saw just that change starting, and even their look of concern when upon arriving there, something was already going on. You saw it from their point of view and distance, and most importantly in real-time terms of the walk from the rally. No, the people in jail are mostly people who walked through open doors, stayed between purple ropes, had calm negotiations with police officers about how to peacefully protest, but were not paid to be there by BLM.
All of the BLM protestors that broke down the barriers, broke all of the windows, and encouraged rioting are still hung over from celebrating the 2nd amendment yesterday.
