Seriously, if this is a time `of war and global peril' (mostly inflicted by progs), why are politicians making any money at all? They should forfeit and just serve to set the tone. He could sell his mansion and distribute the money to his community, and so could the various network owners that support Biden's stance.

He can try to force US refiners to sell at lower prices where they are still profitable and ignore market but then he is knee capping US firms against their foreign competitors. In Mexico they have price controls and the government reimburses the companies after they file for reimbursement. It's forcing companies to take on short-term debt for periods when payables don't match receivables.

The actual gas station would probably prefer lower prices so he can burn your ass on all the crap inside they sell. $4 for a few cubes of watermelon.
