Correct. Often poor people are driving further for work, and often older less fuel efficient cars. And because their income is lower, the percent of the income going to transportation is much higher.

Of course, Dems don't care. Just like they didn't care when forcing public schools to close disproportionately harmed poor kids.

They want those poor people decimated and completely beholden to them.

I stopped at a QT on 35 in Gainesville and a lady inline in front of me asked for $20 on pump 1 and a $5 scratch off ticket.

Gas was $4.69/ gal. And she was driving a Chrysler 300. So she got about 4 gallons of gas and $5 worth of hope.

People are taking out loans to pay for gas. Everybody should seriously think about that. I take out loans to pay for a new house, or to capitalize a business. If people are borrowing money to pay for gas, this **** is all going to come unraveled very soon.
