I figure they're both puppets anyhow, so why not take Kamala? Removing the tie breaker would stall out the last few months of this senate, it'd make other democrats nervous about hitching their wagon to a sinking ship, and it'd show that she's trash. It would also get the 'historic firsts' out of the way which would dull that vector of attack in the next election.

I'm starting to lean in that direction too. She'll essentially be a lame duck and after the midterms, the House will also be lame ducks. Out of spite they may try to pass some crap on their way out of the door but the Senate won't have the tie breaker.

Reminds me of my late older brother. Got his first motorcycle at 19. Was driving it home from the dealership and pulled up to a red light. Cute girl in a convertible next to him. Thought he'd be all manly as he pulled up but forgot to put his foot down. Fell right over.
