In times like these, specifically days like this, we only need the facts from news outlets. We don't need opinion shows. We don't need arguments. To the networks, producers, directors, and hosts, just go dark with a static message on the screen. You are not essential. Thus goes for all shows, not one sided.

Now, they are running up the death toll with an emphasis that is not humanistic, but ratings based in my opinion. I am sickened for the families that lost kids today. I am sickened for the teachers, staff, classmates and first responders that will never erase the images that they viewed today.

F the ratings and clicks, have a soul and work for some good. Again, this goes for all of the networks in my opinion.

What you describe is called 'the news'... they don't do that anymore.
