I would think, if you are adamant about commenting on a post one of your users put up, the most helpful thing would be to post a link to contrary information, and let the reader decide for themselves. That is much less arrogant than decideding what is truth or not.

Now, if Twitter did this, they would undoubtedly link to propaganda, but at least it would give the user more information about a topic as opposed to just trusting Twitter.

Personally, since I want Ukraine to win as Russia invaded them for no reason I'd be happy if people spreading obvious Russian propaganda (like the idea of Ukrainians being nazis etc) don't get to keep doing that.

But I'd also be fine if they didn't do that and let everything stay, which is probably the direction Elon will take it. The bigger point is that Twitter is a private company that can do whatever they want in terms of censorship. If users don't like it they can go join Truth Social or start their own platform.

I will address the point.

I agree that private companies should enjoy the right to free speech and to regulate their own business/platform. However, it seems that conservatives are held to that standard whilst leftists can bend the rules however they want. When they don't like something they employ cancel culture, etc. perhaps it's not the best argument to say it's not fair. However, I'm sure you agree with me that anti-trust laws are anathema to capitalism but we have them and they should be equally enforced and likely are necessary.

We no longer live in a pure system where there can be absolute anything: economically l, China is capitalist (sort of) and we are socialist .

The left loves to hide behind the first amendment not applying to private parties, but they'll be the first to destroy anyone that says something they don't like.
