I tend to agree that this is a likely way for things to play out.

Basically, the Left has over-reached so badly, they are going to turn apolitical people into political participants.

Also, if you look at the polls, young people (under 45) are more likely to vote GOP, and the left has lost a significant amount of support from Hispanics and blacks.

I think that a lot of people are just so jaded because they read so much on social media from the very vocal, overreaching minority.

Let's step away from the ledge and see how the midterms play out.

A vegetable received 81 MM votes in 2020. There is no shame, there is no conscious with these people. They truly believe that the ends justifies the means.

The beautiful part of their overreach is how hard it will be to walk back. It's not like they can just wait for the assault weapons ban to expire.

A recent poll showed Biden 50/50 with Hispanics on job approval. The country is lost if 50% of Hispanics approve of his performance.

There is nothing going well in this country right now and yet 50% of Hispanics think it is? Insane!

But, Joe Biden did not actually receive 81 million votes. That itself is a proven lie that we can draw some comfort from.

No matter what shady crap they try to pull between now and whenever the votes are counted from the November elections, it will be pretty damn near impossible for them to hold the House/Senate alike. "His" time with some sense of fiat powers is running out.

For context you would have to go back to where it was.

The Dems always claimed the Hispanics as their own. The hispanic districts have historically voted overwhelmingly D.

For the first time in my life I canvassed my neighborhood for a local election.

For the first time in my life I donated to a political candidate.

For the first time in my life I'm actively working to have something passed in the state (KS Value them Both Amendment).

My wife and I used to read the local paper (now internet) and research candidates and vote for the one we thought could do the most good. Didn't care if it was R, D or I. After the Kavanagh hearings, I will never vote for a D (or someone I think is a D) in an election again.

Liberals have gone to far.

Unfortunately conservatives keep waiting or hoping for the right politician to save us, no politician can save us from evil/ satan. This is the evidence of losing a cultural war. We need faith, we need Jesus in schools, and yet we have let the left destroy the fundamental infrastructure of what made America great in the first place. Until this is addressed no politician can make that big a difference.

What they apparently did in 2020 was turn apolitical people into Dem voters with a massive vote harvesting machine masquerading as a voter registration and outreach campaign.

America ended 11/3/2020. Instead of people rising up to save her the urgency to revive America so so low that we'll have to wait until elections finally roll around to see if enough people care to do anything about it.

The Kavanaugh hearings were a turning point for me where the Democrats went too far. I was off for the first two days of the hearings. I was listening to them live on NPR. It was interesting how the NPR commenters would say how well Kavanaugh held up before a break. When they returned, their story flipped 180 degrees as if someone handed them talking points. From that point it was obvious how the MSM was getting talking points from the same source for every story.

Then the Ford lies about a High School party where even her best friend couldn't remember the made up incident. So much of her testimony just did not make sense. Even if her testimony were true, the local DA said if her accusations were true, Kavanaugh would have been cited with the equivalent of a traffic ticket, based upon the law at the time of the incident.

Destroying a person's reputation and convincing half the country to hate him because of a lie for political gain is unforgivable.

From there the coordinated lies, misreporting, and character assassination against Trump and anyone who goes against the establishment have been clearly obvious.

The leftists and establishment appear to be more than willing to destroy the foundations of personal freedom and government for the people (rather than the people being there for the government) as long as they get the wealth and power that they crave.

I really do hope people figure out at some point that trying to put all Hispanics into a group is folly. A Mexican American from Texas has very little in common with a Puerto Rican from NYC or a Cuban from Florida. A 3rd Gen that doesn't speak Spanish isn't the same as a 1st Gen that speaks little to no English. GOP is doing better but a lot of this is the Dems are just doing a great job of blowing it.

The 2 biggest mistakes for the Dems. First is going so all in with BLM and then lumping Hispanics in as POC. The second is the Latinx mentality which goes to my original point above. The Dems take Hispanics for granted and try to lump them into a big group and it is costing them. They are also discovering that the GOP isn't some great evil that hates them but actually has far more in common with their ideals. Hispanics tend to love the idea of the American Dream and patriotism and family and that's the Trump message. Dems have gotten to the point where they can't even openly support any of that without massaging their words so as not too offend their leftist base.

Right. We spent too much time being 'tolerant" of the intolerable, just because we just wanted to live our lives in peace and not cause a fight. Look what it got us as a society. Give a liberal an inch, they will, indeed, take a mile and push for more. Time to simply say, "enough", and let them call you a 'racist', "ZZZ-phobe" or whatever else they have in their bag of tricks. This crap needs to stop, and stop now.

I'm 65 and this is an America far worse than anything I could ever have imagined. Recently a thoughtful 20 year old asked me if I thought the America I lived in would be possible for his generation. There is a small proportion of the US that supports the radical left. The majority of Americans don't.

The whole gameplan is to discourage conservatives so much that they check out.

Well, some might. But a whole lot of middle of the road Americans are going to start getting involved with politics, because this America is not business as usual.

When gasoline prices hit $5 across the country, a whole lot of people are going to start voting.

Maybe some of you are spending too much time in conservative echo chambers, which are likely infected with badguy propaganda spreaders trying to get you to check out.

That's exactly what I would do if I was Soros. And, if the war in Ukraine has taught me anything, its that this kind of propaganda works very, very well in certain circles.

There will never be a perfect Republican candidate. The libs and their media mouthpieces know this. That's why you hear all these terrible things about Republican candidates in the primaries.

It backfired on them in 2016 though. Trump was the last man standing and they were okay with that because they thought Hillary would trounce him.
