If they end up pulling this crap then it better be optional and everyone who accepts it has the equivalent of bankruptcy on their credit report for 5+ years. I'm tired of this cash giveaway that's been going on for two years.

Student loan forgiveness is unfair to a lot of people. It is unfair to people who have paid off their loans, future students who will not receive loan forgiveness and non-college graduates who pay taxes used to fund these welfare payments. They should take responsibility for their debts.

F that noise! I made very specific choices in my life so that I could ensure my children's education was paid for and they would not need to take on debt. If others are getting their loans "forgiven" where do I go to reimbursed?

Yup. I want payments for my masters, my husband's masters, and his PhD. My parents covered my bachelors so I don't need reimbursement for that. Give that money to them.

I would def take out fed loans for both. Could be an easy $15k saved. If its gonna happen it would be stupid to not get some of it.

They can absolutely do it and likely will. One of their primary goals is to cripple the the dollar and the American financial system. This would be a perfect way to fast track that.

Meanwhile PPP and Too Big To Fail Bailouts were AWESOME, right?
