Bless his heart.
A movie from 1983 depicting 1940s America.
And so what? We grew up with guns as many have done for centuries. Many had them on gun racks at my high school. No one ever shot us up.
Who knew people from UK were so scared of guns?
Explains that loss they took in 1776.
I had a friend that would take his guns into school and put them in his locker so he and other friends could drive out to the edge of town and go shooting during lunch. The teachers didn't know, but I suspect he would not have gotten in much trouble anyway even if they found out.
Like you, every pickup in the parking lot had a gun rack and rifles in it. Not talking about a rural farm town either. Anyone growing up in that time period knows intrinsically that growing up with guns does not lead to mass gun murders. In fact, it leads to less gun crime and a better appreciation for what guns do and don't do.
I know, I'm preaching to the choir, but it's hilarious how the gun hating left tries to characterize something the completely don't understand.
