Make sure that your test is less than 24hrs before your plane is scheduled to take off. If not then they are not supposed to let you on the plane.

Requiring a test to return to your own country is insulting and should be illegal. I hate these people with a passion.

FYI it is not 24 hours, CDC website clearly states you can take the test 1 DAY before your DAY OF DEPARTURE and they do not require the test to be within 24 hours. For example, if you have a flight at 2pm on a Saturday a 10am test on Friday is accepted. Just pointing this out for others as it does give you some more time depending on your flight times.

Exact language from CDC below:
The 1-day period is 1 day before the flight's departure. The Order uses a 1-day time frame instead of 24 hours to provide more flexibility to the air passenger and aircraft operator. By using a 1-day window, test acceptability does not depend on the time of the flight or the time of day that the test sample was taken.

Very common at indoor concert venues, even in Texas.

I went to TJ Maxx today and every employ was masked. I felt like I stepped back in time.

It's kind of shocking when I run into masked folks when out somewhere, and I'm like "Oh, people are still doing that?". And then I think of how sad and fearful those people have been for so long, and it makes me pity them.

I'm in the Uk right now. Heading back to US on Friday. Must have either a negative COVID test one calendar day prior to return OR have proof of recovery from COVID within the past 90 days.

I have been taking in country UK (England) flights and no mask is required in the Airport or on the plane. However, Scotland still has mask requirements.

It's a stupid crazy at this point. You fly one direction and you must wear a mask on the plane. Fly another direction and no mask. It all depends on the regulations of the country/area you are flying FROM.

1- I am fully vaccinated
2- I recovered from COVID less than 90 days ago.

Needless to say, I have NOT been wearing my mask in Scotland.
