Unlike the US, China kills corrupt bureaucRATS both in and out of uniform.

Yep. Same thing with Belt and Road and just about everything. It's important when you look at China that you understand that corruption is part of life there and that they don't have a loyalty to country or the same morality that we have at all. It's just different and hard to describe to someone who hasn't been there or studied it. Honestly it is why I don't really fear China ever overtaking us, they are definitely a threat but they will never be us. They can only harm us but they cannot surpass us.

The other issue in China is the mentality is very hierarchical and independent thought is strongly discouraged. You do what you are told. That's why innovation never comes from China, they steal innovation and copy it but they don't innovate.

Corruption in our military? Sure. But they are also a very good fighting force.

China doesn't have to have a "good" fighting force…

They just overwhelm you with numbers…

They have us 3.5 to 1 in population and don't mind sending their forces to the slaughter to win…

Not really, they charge people with corruption that they want out of the way. It's how Xi purges all of the people who may a threat to him.
