He's definitely left leaning on many social issues, but he is constantly calling out the left on their hypocrisy.

He's actually my go to when I want to hear a left leaning opinion on a topic.

We will all have to get over ourselves and purity tests for ideology and find fellow compatriots wherever they are for as long as they are pushing for truth.

Search for truth and those that speak it.

I've starting aligning myself in some issues with democrats, with LGBTQ'ers who are really good at exposing BLM riots and transgender insanity, even Robert Kennedy jr on vaccines. I find myself loathing sone former conservatives that aren't really conservatives anymore. They're anti-Trumpers and take stands opposite of Trump no matter how insane. I used to read National Review for 30+ years but no longer because they're all over the board now.

Haven't myself heard anything from RB that I disagree with. Been watching his channel for about 3 months now. He's great, and its a digestible format (unlike Rogan).

Irrespective of your feelings about his politics - past or present - Brand was spot on with this video.

I admit, I never really cared for many of his views in the past. But this purity test so many posters on this site want to hold people to is ridiculous, You may not agree with many of his or Rogans views but they are doing a lot of good work freeing people from the MSM lies and control.

Joe still does stand up. He has a show in Dallas on April 20th, and he's opening a comedy club in Austin.

Brand and Rogan are part of a growing group who have left/liberal policy positions on many issues, but can still have honest discussions, change their minds, and call out insanity even when it's someone from what would traditionally be considered "their team". I'll take opponents like that over some of the ideological chat bots who pass as journalists, commentators, and philosophers these days.

I can learn from them. I can't learn from the ones who assume that anyone who isn't reasoning from the same set of assumptions is Literally Hitler (TM).

Tim Pool, Scott Adams, Styxhexenhammer, Glen Greenwald, Chris Williamson and Jimmy Dore are all pretty good too. What's funny is most of the balanced views I find are from previously left leaning folks.

People are allowed to have differences of opinion.

But people like Brand before his awakening were pure sheep. And him and Rogan still cling to backwards false propogandized BS the left created like climate change.

So as long as someone holds views that are incorrect, I'm allowed to distance myself from them in a manner of purity. I don't like being exposed to stupid and I certainly don't like being exposed to sheepish propoganda.

I've been watching RB for several months. He really seems to put some effort in getting to the "truth". He opens topics up with facts and data then allows the viewer to come to their own conclusions. I can say he is making a heck of a lot more effort at truth seeking than the communist propaganda machine msm. He's English so, he still holds on to many of those old socialist support structures, but he also calls Out a great deal of hypocrisy with the politicians. I've watched his subscribership grow by leaps and bounds. Not a bad channel really.
