It's always failed. It's always been a clear cut, seasonal pattern. Anyone paying the slightest bit of attention knows this. And yes, even the tyrants in charge know that any kind of mandates do virtually nothing.

The pessimist in me believes it's because things are plummeting now, but if you follow the seasonal pattern, you know by mid april it will be trending back up. Which means they can justify(in their minds) extending it again because of the new wave.

Last night on KBTX, after they blamed the unvaxxed for all of the cases and deaths, and had their expert tell us we must continue to wear masks, take the shots, and "social distance." he said Spring Break will likely cause a surge in cases.

I remember in 2020 when we were trying to restart air travel to save the airline industry, the word was that the HEPA filtration was incredibly efficient and safe.

CDC data just updated. Looks like the US #Covid19 positive testing percentage dropped below 3% this past weekend. The only time we've seen sub-3% during the pandemic was for 7 weeks from May 18 to July 5, 2021 (during the pre-Delta lull).
