If Abbott sincerely didn't know what the World Economic Forum is or who Klaus Schwab is, why not just say that? He could have said "I need to find out who that is, but I am Texas first, yada yada".

People don't like politicians for their political answers. Voters want the truth, but it's a constant game from the pols.

Real answer I heard from James Lindsey on Tim Pool, he got an honorary doctorate from somewhere and he wears that around sometime.
