My heart and prayers go out to all Ukrainians, especially those brave Ukrainians who remain in Kyiv, the Alamo of Eastern Europe.

I also pray for the men and women in our military who are seeing the Russian missile launches (and reporting them) in real time, knowing those missiles are landing on Ukrainian non-combatants.

Recognizance can never be overestimated, and right now, those in our military missile recognizance programs know they are there "....for such a time as this.":

This isn't a blue/red thing and your prism argument is irrelevant. I don't care what his political beliefs are. I could disagree with him on everything. He could be extremely corrupt. None of that matters with respect to current support for him. People respect/admire the guy because he was offered an evacuation to safety by the US and he responded that he doesn't need a ride, he needs ammo. He's staying to fight instead of fleeing like the vast majority of our leaders would. Don't twist it into more than it is.

He's the President of Ukraine and he hasn't tucked tail and run. He's doing his job and good for him. My guess is that he doesn't think he's a hero either. I call Ukrainians who remained to fight patriotic...not heroes.

I really thought that Poland was going to step up and fill the void of Western leadership, but that seems to be fizzling out.
