Holy cow, applied Jan 3rd and just heard back that they will accommodate my request, which of course could change based on any legal changes. Given i work in big tech, consider this a sign that even they realize this is ending and to stop requiring vaccines that clearly don't work.

Mine is not for employment but rather related to healthcare surcharge.

The HR departments are run by and filled with worthless idiots! I've always believed that and even moreso now.

I received my exemption in early December. I've been peppering HR with questions about religious discrimination with regard to disparate policies for those with religious exemptions and vaxxed persons.

I never understood the long term benefits of playing the exemption game. Short term, sure you keep your job or have less hoops to jump through if they approve. Long term though, by applying you are conceding that the employer has control over your body and you hope the employer temporarily waives that privilege.

There should be a larger push back rather than playing the exemption game, which actually gives more power to the companies the longer it goes on.

Our government (and crony capitalist gov) is only successful with a moral society and we are forgoing morals by playing the game.

Or is this a limited gov mindset where y'all are ok with companies having the right to mandate vaccines? This is a genuine question, so my apologies if it comes across as preachy.

He said we didn't need a special session leaving Texans to lose their jobs.

He promised no National Guardsmen under his command would be discharged but that is in process of happening too!

So sad that people are having to request medical exemptions or be forced to take experimental vaccines that are worthless and maybe even harmful long term. The negative efficacy after 3-4 months has now been documented, these are not vaccines, they are therapeutics that lose strength after 3 to 4 months, no long term effects known, 92 years protected data to keep everyone from seeing what they really do... terrible

Meanwhile, my company rolled back every COVID related requirement and fully reopened all offices.

My daughter unvaccinated, has had Covid, works for Container Store at their warehouse. No vaccine mandate even those they said it was coming, but mandating a mask to be worn by everyone at work. Work is the only place she has worn a mask this entire time. She works Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday, they said masks will not be required after March 1st. On Friday they said no mask required as of that day. They still do temperature checks everyday.

The only good part about the Ukraine/Russia war is that covid is becoming a thing of the past.

I agree. I don't think I would have applied had it come to that. But I do understand people doing it that want to keep their job. Lesser of two evils if you have mouths to feed.

I ceded nothing. I informed them that I was exerting my religious rights and would give to Caesar that which was Caesar's but that my body was not mine to give.

I also informed HR that I was opting out of their masking policy because it was not based in medicine or science and amounted to religious discrimination.

Our company is rolling back all COVID restrictions (daily survey, temp checks, masks, etc).

Also they are stopping the surcharge.
