At this point, worrying about mayor pete's corruption is akin to noticing a water mark just above the baseboard outside of your shower while ignoring the festering black mold rot that has taken over almost half of your entire house because the waterline is 15 feet up.

This is what the entire party does. Why should he be any different?

Not that all Republicans are perfect (far from it) but pay for play is a strategy of the democrat party and has been since Clinton. Its why Wall Street and other large industries suddenly went from 80% Republican donors to well over 90% democrat now. They get to write whatever legislation/regulation that comes about and large companies love it: its easier to get rid of smaller competition this way.
