Goes into discussion how Western Civ/society bucked the history of mankind and ended slavery as an acceptable condition. Funny how the current race hustlers never talk about that or the fact that slavery was a part of the human condition across time and place but also was not tied to race.
God loves you so much He'll meet you where you are. He also loves you too much to allow to stay where you are.

Something that's often (always?) overlooked is the fact that the Arab world had legal slavery until recent times, and on a de facto basis right up to the present.

Saudi Arabia had legal slavery until 1962, Oman until 1970. Mauritania keeps on outlawing slavery because the laws don't seem to take too well.

Wonder if the Nation of Islam ever weighed in on that (no, actually I don't wonder at all).

Not to mention that the arabs started the African slave trade in the 800s and it didn't ever truly end if you consider the enslavement of Sudanese by arabs during the Sudan civil war as part of it.

Never forget that European nations (including descendant nations like USA and Latin America) were the last to enter the African slave trade and the first to abolish it. Then our nations went on to pressure other countries into outlawing slavery.

Yet we get all the flack.

You're welcome, entire world, for ending slavery.

Outstanding! I have to wonder what would happen to a modern day high school kid that used this as the basis of a report on slavery……

Africa still engages in slavery. This article excerpt is from 2018:

"Armed conflict, state-sponsored forced labor, and forced marriages were the main causes behind the estimated 9.2 million Africans who live in servitude without the choice to do so, according to the 2018 Global Slavery Index."

You don't have to go back to 2018, we have slave markets in Libya now:

A lot of good the Libyan Invasion did the people of Libya. And still no one can tell me why we invaded.

Gaddafi was openly working to get off the dollar for oil trading. That's why we invaded.

They work in conditions that would physically break the average person (physically and mentally), get some of the best nutrition possible, are in better shape than 99% of people on the planet, have more free time than anybody else employed, and make more money a year than 99.9999% of anybody anywhere in the world. Yeah, slave-like conditions because they have to chase a ball around for 3 hours a week.

Was there any substance to Gaddafi's gold hoard that was rumored to have disappeared?

Edit: Gold was real, estimated 143 tons. Where did it go?

You hardly ever hear about the Barbary Pirates. Africans who raided the European and English Coast and eventually tried to go after the US to enslave people at the exact same time period as the African slave trade was going to the New World. The women were made into concubines and many of the men were made into galley slaves where they were chained to an oar to row until they died. They were just white people though so who cares, right?

Have any of y'all been to the Middle East lately? You can say slavery there ended in the 60s but from what I see today, it's only progressed a small step above that. The Middle East relies on low cost labor from the massive population pool in India and South East Asia.

However, unlike the way the US pulls on Latin America or the U.K./ west Europe pulls on Eastern Europe migrants for low cost labor, the Middle East is much more hardline in their policy. Not uncommon for contracts to come with $300/monthly salaries and clauses prohibiting returning home for years. A break of these terms and they lose their work Visas. They definitely don't give a flying **** about the "humanitarian" aspect of their immigration laws unless you're the right color brown there.

Marxism requires two perpetual classes of oppressor and oppressed to be created to justify the violence and dictatorship it claims is necessary to establish the workers paradise

In America the marxists have simply changed the words Capital and Worker to White and BIPOC but the goal of creating division to justify violence and dictatorship is the same it's always been for Marxists
