I would rather have a conservative in his seat just like the rest of you, but the man has shown backbone in some critical times in our recent history.

He showed enormous backbone refusing to allow a vote on Garland. I could not believe he had the stones to do it.

Of course he has come up lame and wishy-washy on other issues. But the times it matter most to the future of the Republic, he held his ground.

That said, I wish he would retire so we can replace him with a conservative.

First Mike " never dine alone with a woman" Pence, now Moscow Mitch denouncing January 6th? There is something definitely happening in either the Jan.6th commission or within the GOP elite and either way this type of posturing is significant.

If Trump is serious about running in 2024 he will start hitting the campaign tour for candidates who are loyal to him and these kind of rebukes are and excellent way to land straight in his crosshairs.

Of course, this could all be a coordinated attempt as gaslighting the American public, something the GOP is very attune to doing.

McConnell granted a two month stay which allowed the dims time to work things out with the liberal wishlist they call an infrastructure bill at our country's expense. And he voted for the bill.
