We didn't hurt them bad enough in 1945. Too bad the atomic bombs weren't available before the war in Europe ended. That might have done the trick.

At least this time they don't have much of a military. I'm pretty sure France would kick their ass this time around.

I used to wonder how "history repeats itself" when it doesn't take a historian to see the flaws in people of the past.

Then, Democrats went from Jim Crow to today with their new version of "separate-but-equal."

As a student of the Manhattan Project, I can tell you that lots of the MP scientists were Jews who fled Germany, and were working on the Atom Bomb to use against Germany, and because we thought Germany was developing the weapon.

They were obviously thrilled when the war ended in Europe, and many were shocked that the program continued. Several were opposed to using the Bomb in the Pacific Theater.

But. of course, we had spent billions on the project, and the Japanese were not going to surrender, as had the Germans, so off to Tinian Island the bombs went.

You know, I almost made this thread about Godwin and when posting about nazis would no longer be hyperbole but just took it another direction.

Interestingly, Godwin himself says referencing nazis is fine when the context allows it which I'm pretty sure it does in this case.

Democrats are well aware of how history repeats itself. That's why they want to erase the past, so younger generations don't catch on to their scheme(s).
