7 hours
Things got screwed up time wise because they have to come back tomorrow to do the lottery and then retire for deliberations. It appears the final 12 are NOT being sequestered during deliberations for some reason of which I am unaware. Court reconvenes at 9 AM. Say jury gets the case at 9:30-9:45 AM.
If acquittal, 4-5 PM area for verdict announcement in court. Again, have to discern between the jury telling the judge they have reached a verdict and that verdict being announce in open court. That is usually about an hour or so.
Yeah, seven- eight hours sounds about right for a non-sequestered jury not going to be housed in a good hotel, by Kenosha standards.
Take a gander of the "best" hotels in Kenosha. LOL.

Folks, Candlewood Suites is the "best" hotel in Kenosha. Now, when The Hubs and I go to bowl games, we like Candlewood Suites. For an away game motel, they are really good with full sized fridge and small kitchen, living room separate from the bedroom, etc. Comfy. But we always go out to eat. No restaurant, no room service.
Great for gameday trips, suck for being sequestered as a jury.
