The problems with the extremes is that they don't want to accept they're extreme and out of touch with the majority of their side, or even the country. She's good for getting attention, but useless at getting anything actually accomplished. I guess that makes her perfect for today's political climate.

Uh, AOC and her ilk are becoming the mainstream on her side. Dumbass Biden is adopting some of her ideas from the Green New Deal. Pelosi is terrified to stand up to them. Schumer too. She and the Dem base are moving the party further and further left, and getting them to propose more and more crazy ideas like CRT and "Defund the Police". She's getting plenty accomplished. And it appears it's starting to cost the Dems votes.

Keep in mind, some of what AOC is saying is not wrong. We have a totalitarian neomarxist problem among the 18-40 year old electorate. I'm not so sure they shift more conservative as they age like Boomers did. Gen X didn't really have to shift all that much because in general the generation that grew up during peak Reagan was more conservative on balance during their younger years than Boomers were.

If we can't get 18-40 year olds to make some major ideological shifts we are going to have issues.

At this point, them staying unmotivated to vote is not a bad thing. More importantly, them NOT signing up for Zuckerberg and Soros financed VBM ballot harvesting efforts is an even better outcome.

AOC is an enemy of the state. Why do we give congressional seats to enemies of the state?
