I was not cut out to be USMC. But..... proud to be from a long lineage of Marines including a living grandfather who is almost 90 who is one of the Frozen Chosen from Korea. 1st Div!

The big draw apart from quality posts is it is arguably a news aggregator par excellance. It really is relatively unnecessary to follow all the pablum and commercial drenched static that is called `news' because anything you really should know about breaking usually generates a thread. And very fast.

There are plenty of former students who prove that having a diploma does NOT make you an Aggie.

Thank you! I had a blast in while serving and got to see so much of the world. It also paid for college when I got out.

Agree. Texags does an outstanding job of this. Or I should really say its membership.

I also find that this is the best source for Longhorns recruiting info, as an aside.

Absolutely agree. A gem. Tons of quality posters here and always great info. Even if it is depressing, due to the state of the country. I have a good feeling about the mid terms. I just hope the damage is not irreparable by then.

If you cannot appreciate self deprecating humor and expose yourself to blackpilling level truths then you're not cut out for political discussion.

Modern politics is immensely depressing because it's a constant stream of bad news. The only way to stay sane is through humor and making light of it all as well as religion.
