As big a question as "will the sun rise in the west tomorrow?" (Hard to call it big when he answer is known)
Apparently so ……Salute The Marines said:
Is reporting people breaking the law to the appropriate authorities really considered off board action?

I assume you're talking about the professor names thread. Here's my post there:
The forums aren't for organizing off board action. I've talked about this here before and this is the case not just for political topics. If you want to talk about this issues, do that here. If you want to organize off board action, do that somewhere else. Thanks!

But do you not see a difference in this versus the things from last year?
You can argue, rightfully so, that last year's events were a bit of a witchhunt.
The information discussed here today, however, is:
1. Political in nature
2. Definitely A&M related
3. In violation of University policies
4. In violation of state policies
And gathering relevant information is on topic for the thread.
I agree harassing is not to be tolerated, but this is mostly information gathering and some venting.
it is ultimately your call, of course. I would just hope for a little more leeway on this, this time around.

Maybe we should leave that to the students to report? Seems like the op of that thread as a bone to pick with the vet school, can't get any traction with them directly, and comes running here to drum up support. The students should be the ones taking up arms, not the alumni
This is a terrible take. Members of civilized society quite often stand up for others being oppressed even if the issue does not directly effect everyone.HammerHeadAg said:Salute The Marines said:
