No, because we were dumb with the Three Mile Island incident and the Russians were... well Russians in their handling of Chernobyl. Death blow was finding out the Japanese built a bit nuclear plant by the sea in an area subject to Tsunamis.

as has been shown by Covid, liberals and Democrats most definitely do not understand science.

They do not understand cost/benefit analysis, economic feasibility, and positive revenue generation.

They do not understand leveraging multiple resources for the greater good (renewables AND oil/gas and nuclear), and would rather put all their eggs in a single basket (renewables) that are unproven, unprofitable and unsustainable. At the same time they want to cripple the other methods of power generation so they are not competitive and will eventually fail, dooming our power grid and economy to 3rd world status.

and no, there is no "green" job bonanza. all the "green" manufacturing is overseas, the support is overseas.

No one is going to have a career in "green" energy, other than Democrat politicians.

Just like other political/religious zealots, green folks are hard core leftists first and foremost. Feminists are leftists first as they destroy conservative women. BLM are leftists first as they disavow black conservatives.

Greenies will never compromise unless the ownership of the power structure is government.

When you get rich and influential dem lobbyists and donors investing heavily in nuclear power, then you'll see a sudden push for it

Yes sir. Always follow the money. Right now they are buying lithium and battery disposal companies. Can't wait for the new battery operated F150.

Small modular reactors (and thorium versions) to be placed at former coal burning sites (using the steam/electrical distribution facilities) would make the most sense. Bonus for being much less damaging to the environment vs. massive land use/carbon needed for solar panel production/wind farms.

Fortunately, there is a nascent effort to do this.

Logic and the Green Movement don't go well together. That's the problem
Won’t comply. Won’t surrender.

Logic and the green movement.
Logic and jobs.
Logic and Covid.
Logic and policing.
Logic and taxation.

The libs can do none of these things

Right now energy companies are too busy nutting themselves over covid and writing new equity policies. Why would they bother!

Need to be spooling up Thorium Salt reactors left and right. In places like Texas Nat gas generators can be ran for very cheap too.

Indeed, I hear this is the case. No industry is safe from the woke.

I have yet to see the Green Movement acknowledge that all those EVs on the road need to be charged up by ELECTRICITY. And they haven't even (to my knowledge) even ASKED THE QUESTION of how that is going to accomplished when fossil fuels are banned.

And that's just ONE example of their total lack of logic and rational thinking. EVERY damned one of their tenants is not only illogical, but NOT EVEN EXPLORED OR EXAMINED in any way.

Completely agree. It is like the Laws of Physics do not apply in Green Energy World. Also, there will always be just the right amount of wind and sun light to generate the energy we would need to run everything and charge our vehicles.
