Re Carl Nassib coming out as a gay man, the View's Behar had some interesting comments:

Twitter users slammed her as homophobic and said 'gay jokes were never funny'.
A handful of gay Twitter users defended her, saying they weren't offended ".

Well yes the left gets to be as vile and offensive as they want to be, or make whatever jokes they want but the minute a conservative does it they must be fired.

I can assure you that Joy Behar has no fear of being fired or canceled and her networks will not do anything about it. Yet you recently saw Sharon Osbourne forced out of her job on another show because she spoke out against Megan Markel.

Eye rolls. There were couple of gay guys in gym training class and they made all the best jokes. Some things are just funny wording and not really offensive double entendre. If you can't laugh at clever wording that describes a little bit of reality then the world becomes a miserable place.

Try hard to not offend anyone. But try even harder to not get offended.

I'm offended. She must be cancelled/fired. Respect all GLBTQ people, dammit.

That is so not the point.

The joke was not as offensive as many are trying to make it, poor taste, sure, the problem is the hypocrisy in the way that the left and the right are treated when making said jokes.

Every time something like this happens now it is blown way out of proportion but the people doing it are treated very differently depending on who they are. Social media has been part of this escalation as well.

That is the point.

I mean, think about the all white club thing earlier this week for the Democrat. Had Trump or any Republican been in a situation this would be 24/7 news media but it's basically already dropped off.

The left basically gets to do anything they want to be as offensive as they want and there's no problem.
