ETA: garbage take if the implication is we should trust computer voting because of the experts. But maybe he's commenting on something else. I could be reading the cartoon wrong.

he explains every cartoon in the alt text

There are lots of very smart people doing fascinating work on cryptographic voting protocols. We should be funding and encouraging them, and doing all our elections with paper ballots until everyone currently working in that field has retired.

The alt-text provides more comment, just hover on the image to see it.

They are not being sarcastic about people worried about inaccuracies arising from computerized voting, they are saying software is always buggy, and should not be trusted with something critical.

It's from 2018.

The comment about blockchain is that it is a new technology, and at that point in time it was the latest tech buzz word that everybody was trying to find a way to use somehow. It's a comment that anybody saying they've solved a problem using blockchain is not someone who can be trusted, it was just the latest industry buzzword. Much like "web 2.0" in the early 2000s, and "cloud" for the last decade or so.

This was obviously written before 2020 when it became racist and Jim crow to advocate for election integrity.

I seriously question this boards ability to read and comprehend...

1. This comic is about electronic voting (as in, voting from a computer)
2. It has nothing to do with paper ballots being counted by a computer, which was a technology that had been in prevalent use.
3. He's advocating AGAINST electronic voting, not for. I have no idea how you brainiacs read that comic and decided he was supporting electronic voting.

You're not reading it wrong. It's liberal puke. They want computers controlling the vote so they don't have to pay people to switch the hand printed ballots. Burn it to the ground, along with every news outlet in the country.

Serious question, have you actually read the comic in the OP? Please, walk me through how you read it and came to the conclusion you did.
