This was brought to my attention by our very own Damani Felder yesterday. Apparently they posted a tweet by rapper Kodak Black (who I believe Trump pardoned at end of his term) that was very pro Trump...probably in an attempt to stir up clicks and controversy. The crazy thing was that, if you go to the comments...almost everyone, black, white, hispanic is seconding it and saying they miss Trump too.

I was admittedly not expecting this at all. Just seems kind of bizarre for so many minorities on a hip hop thread to be singing Trump's praises when Biden was the most popular presidential candidate of all time earning the most votes.

We'll probably see more of this as minority plights go back to 2016 levels.

Kanye is probably just biding his time before it's so obvious to everyone that he can jump out and say he told them so.

He was definitely gaining significant momentum with minorities, most surprisingly blacks in recent years. Biden was a big fat YAWWWWWN from them.

No you are correct. The myth that Trump lost white suburban women is also inaccurate. His vote totals went up in every demo except white males between 2016 and 2020.

In Florida, the 18-24 demographics went from +24% for Obama in 2008 and then when those same voters were in their thirties, it was Trump +2 in 2020.

This. Their leaders have actually carried out and embodied the negative racist stereotypes the likes of the Klan and true racists would probably paint all blacks with. Promoting violence, shunning fathers and nuclear family, funneling money, buying homes/cars with charity funds etc.

Obviously democrats hate things like record low unemployment and record GDP growth and career politicians hate things like peace deals and no new wars. Tax policies & incentives, trade deals, and regulatory environments that encourage investment in our country and lead to jobs are so terrible because the govt wouldn't have trillions to spend on a climate crisis, huge poorly run socialist programs, and other free handouts to their voter base. But what I think we started to see among Hispanics, particularly Cuban and Venezuelan-Americans, is a fear of the socialist / communist path the Dems are marching down. With the black communities supporting Trump more than any other R candidate in over 60 years, what I think we were seeing was more of a counter-culture spreading. A counter-culture where some of them started to see that all their generations of D voting and being pawns of the elitist libs has gotten them nowhere and I think many saw through the BS vitriol and hate the MSM threw at Trump 24/7 for four years and it started to backfire. People know the "good people on both sides" "racist" video from the Charlottesville incident was doctored and intentionally misleading. When people start to figure out that they are being manipulated, some of them might turn completely the other way.

All I see is another damn White Supremacist!

The data seems to be pretty clear.

It wasn't the minority community that wanted Trump out. It was the mostly white elite political class and the industrial complex that gets richer and more secure with a government run by a political class that protects their oligopolical interests and increases the barriers of entry to competition.

The political and industrial class is understably scared that a politician without a marxist platform struck a cord with the working class of this country.

It's why they will make sure that politician never runs again and that his message is linked to white supremacy and racism as a metanarrative.

We had all kinds of this stuff before the election and then there was intimidation and cheating. Doesn't matter.

the 'white suburban women don't like Trump' talking point has been given to brush off all the other anomalies in the results and claim that fraud doesn't exist, audits aren't needed, anti-fraud controls aren't needed next time, etc... but I don't think it's been proven. Trump can't win Ohio with ease and lose the rest of the rust belt like that. Biden can't run on things like raising taxes and "phasing out" gas drilling and banning fracking and win PA like that. Biden lives in Wilmington DE, a suburb of Philly, and couldn't even get two dozen supporters to attend his "rally" in Philly. Trump won PA, bigly.
