The bill makes an exception allowing for abortions in the case of a medical emergency but not for rape or incest.
Really so no exception for rape or incest. Something tells me if men could get raped and procreate, this bill would never have passed.
Will be interested to see what 50+ percent of Texas women who are NOT Christian/Catholic/Mormon think about this.
It's really clear to be honest. Regardless of unfortunate circumstances that led to an unwanted pregnancy, at the point of conception, there is another human being completely innocent of the circumstances that is living now. Not you, a mother, or anyone else should get to determine that human beings fate. The fact that you, and others can casually talk about abortion as if it's not something disgusting and despicable is mind boggling. This is our Holocaust, and I pray one day people will wake up to it and feel the full weight of what's been going on.
I heard an excellent point on Matt Walsh's show yesterday. Often times people who advocate for the death penalty (I do) end up changing their mind on a certain offender/murderer after they see them helpless and remorseful in prison for some time, however with abortions you don't get to see or talk to the human being, you just slay it because its much easier when you don't have to see it/know that it's cognizant.
If people end up feeling bad and don't want to follow through on capitol punishment for a guilty murderer, then how in the world are we just fine with murdering an innocent child, no questions asked?
