Israel should lop off the head of the snake and then help restore power with military escort for the technicians. Thoroughly video record the fact that they have to do that to help the Palestinians.

It is not like Hamas to admit a mistake.
I wonder who actually blew up what?
Maybe we will get some more news.

Going into Gaza would be a major and bloody military operation

There is nothing more pathetic than someone who picks a fight and then calls for a time out because they lost a shoe.

Israel should keep swinging.

We all know how the saying goes - "play stupid games, win stupid prizes"

Those without power should be re-thinking their support of the morons who put them into this situation with their suburban rocket placement & subsequent launch failure, but history would suggest that it will only make them hate Israel all that much more.

Relatively. Israel has conducted a couple full-scale invasions of Gaza the last 15 years. The last one I think was in 2009 against Hamas and 13 or so Israelis died while leveling Gaza and 1400 Palestinians died. I imagine we'll see something similar again.

3500 years ago or so, God told Moses to eliminate the Amalekites. Didn't happen. Still paying for it. Israel should reclaim Gaza and the West Bank and deport/physically remove all the Arabs from those areas. They won't so this drama continues on and on. 'Palestine' never was a nation/state, just a region occupied by other nation/states since AD. The concept of a 'Palestinian' is a modern conscript. Move them to Jordan and Egypt and build a big beautiful wall or alter the ones they already have. Turn Gaza into a pasture.

Simple but hard solution.

Except that Jordan, Egypt, and the whole Arab world refuses to accept them. They have been relegated to pawn status whose only purpose is to be a PITA to Israel.

Yeah, they are simply a proxy used by the Arabs to attack Israel and generate support against them every few years after they've built up a cache of rockets that they launch against them. Israel then beats them down while the world condemns Israel for doing it. Rinse, repeat.

It's safe, clean way for the Arab states to continue to attack Israel while avoiding a hot war that they would lose.

Gaza is the most dense city in the world and population keeps exploding. And it has power and water issues everyday of the year. One of the worst places to live one could ever imagine.

Israel keeps its foot in their necks all the time.

it seems its not Israel causing those issues:

Quote:

The Gaza electricity crisis is an ongoing and growing electricity crisis faced by nearly two million residents of the Gaza Strip, with regular power supply being provided only for a few hours a day on a rolling blackout schedule. Some Gazans and government institutions use private electric generators, solar panels and uninterruptible power supply units to produce power when regular power is not available. The crisis is predominantly the result of tensions between Hamas, which has ruled Gaza since June 2007, and the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Fatah, which rules in the West Bank, over custom tax revenue, funding of Gaza, and political authority.

The Hamas government in Gaza has been reliant on the PA to help provide electricity in Gaza, with import duties on Gaza's fuel purchased via Israel being collected by Israel, as per Protocol on Economic Relations, which are passed to the PA, which pays the bills to Israel and Egypt for the electricity they supply to Gaza. In April 2017, the PA ceased paying the electricity bills issued by Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) and by Egypt.

Hamas and the Gaza Strip Palestinians are some of the most violent and backwards people in the world. The other Muslim countries want nothing to do with them bc of what they did to Jordan.

Jordan has millions of 3rd generation Palestinian "refugees " who live in government camps and do nothing but plot against the Jordanian government. The same government that feeds and shelters them. They refuse to integrate into Jordanian society.

There are only 2 solutions: submission or annihilation.

Every one that Israel kills is one we won't have to fight later. 1,400 every 6 years is just enough to keep them perpetually pissed off. Gaza needs to resemble the utter destruction of Germany in 1945. Then and only then, maybe they will learn some humility. If not, let the bombs keep falling until there is nobody left to fight.

Then, get bulldozers and push the detritus into the sea. Then, Israel can build luxury hotels right on the beaches.

Just want to point out: The eviction explanation has about as much credibility as the original Benghazi "anti-islamic film" story.
