In short, it was a parental revolt against Critical Race Theory.

TLDR points:

Jim Best is stepping down at the end of the school year to focus on 'new opportunities'

It comes after parents of the $50,000-a-year school complained about policies

They said the school had become 'obsessive' in its anti-race policies

Some included reenactments of 'racist cops' in science classes

Dalton is among other elite NYC schools where parents and teachers say the kids are being 'indoctrinated' with liberal agenda

Best will probably go to work at Berkeley or A&M or BLM.

A school where powerful parents have the ability to make a change. You have no chance at your public school.

So the wealthy liberal elites ensure their kids go to schools where they teach you critical thinking.
And they vote for marxist indoctrination everywhere else in public schools.

Sounds about right

Southlake has put up a big fight against this as well. A "committee" was formed to fight "racists" tendencies in the district. They tried to sneak in some CRT classes and was snuffed out pretty quick. Dana Loesch is helping lead the fight.

Everyone needs to fight it as soon as you hear about it. Don't let 1/10 of the woke offended White moms convince the other 9/10 that their children are racists.

I work in a large district and I've never heard or seen anything similar to what is being described.

Not accurate.

Yeah I work in a district of over 12k kids. I'm sure there are some individual teachers engaging with this type of crap but by and large there aren't any kind of school wide mandates happening that are even remotely close to some of the things I see posted and complained about on here about public school.
