The politicians you listed, including W Bush, Perry, Cornyn and Abbott, were presidential candidates or congressional leaders for the GOP...all progressive Democrats. If conservatives dont focus on removing the cancerous politicians from the GOP our Republic is dead.

Chamber of commerce Republicans look down on and despise populist Republicans. It's an interesting internal divide that's taken on a new intensity since Trump influenced the party so much and since the Dems have taken over trading delivering naive or beholden voting block customers and corporate welfare to the big Wall Street corporations in return for campaign support, both direct and indirect, increasingly elbowing the old guard Chsmberbof commerce Republicans out.
