I've been considering it. It would be a huge upgrade over my current rural DSL speeds (20D/1U) and supposedly the latency issues common to other satellite internet providers is not an issue due to their satellites orbiting much closer to earth than their competitors.

This guy does his part to usher in socialism by voting D in Georgia, handing the senate to the leftists, then gets on texags and wonders when he can take advantage of a beautiful capitalist product. All this after also moving away from Atlanta where the policies he supports have come to fruition.

Won't easily get around China. You still need a ground connection back to the internet. The link would have to go up to star link back down to a base station in Singapore or Taiwan (I think there is a limit on how far away the base can be). Also would have to receive the hardware in China and not have it confiscated later.

How are you worried about China if you voted for China Joe? Trump has been the only politician to stand up to China in the world in the last 10 years and you voted against home. The saying cutting off your nose to spite your face comes to mind.

I put in my order on Monday. Looking forward to see how it performs.
