I understand why traditionally red Arizona flipped, some GOPers likely stayed home or voted Biden because they didn't like how Trump treated McCain....(not saying this as I agree with it but more of an analysis)

But how did traditionally red Georgia flip both in the November presidential race and in January? I thought Georgia was pretty conservative

I feel it's a must win in 2022 to take back the senate.

Some Dems on here lied all morning and said Sydney Powell came out and admitted she was a liar. Which couldn't be further from the truth.

The left and their sycophants are just a bunch of weasels that will bend the truth for their failed ideology of greed and envy if they are poor and will use the aforementioned idealistic dumbasses for more power if they are wealthy.

The guy who voted Democrat, but claims he only did it because he hated Trump.

No thanks.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Pretty sure it all comes down to the stimulus. Most Republicans in the Senate only wanted to give $600 stimulus checks to everyone last year. Trump and a few other Republicans came out saying it should be $2,000 stimulus checks for everyone but it was clear that Republicans would never come together to do that no matter what Trump said. It became obvious that if Georgians wanted more money they would have to vote Dem. That was enough of an incentive to draw out more Democrat votes so the seats flipped. Republicans dug their own grave and basically allowed votes to be bought with promise of another stimulus. Republicans would never deliver another stimulus because they could not all get on the same page. This is also one of the main reasons McConnell can't stand Trump now, because he feels like Trump calling for the 2k checks compared to most Republicans wanting 600 is what cost him his senate majority.

Trump won Florida by 3.5%, a larger margin than 2016.

Ron DeSantis, Florida's Governor, cleaned up Broward county after he took office. The county had suspect election practices in 2016 and again in 2018.

Do you think this is a coincidence and not indicative of the influence of voting fraud? In 2020 Florida was not counting fraudulent mail in ballots for three days like Georgia was in Atlanta. But in past elections before they cleaned up Broward, Broward was always counting ballots for 2-3 days after elections.

It's obvious to any unbiased rationale observer that election fraud took place in Atlanta.

Trump improved in the ratings with every demographic except white people... I struggle to believe that voter fraud through untraceable mail in ballots did not flip the outcome from Trump win to a Biden win.

Ran a massive ballot harvesting campaign.

Put boots on the ground to find unregistered and uninterested voters and "convinced" them that their voice needed to be heard (even though they did not care to expel the energy to do so) and made sure their voice was very blue.

florida started processing mail ballots 22 days before the election. georgia didn't start counting them until election day

florida also had almost 4x as many "fraudulent" mail ballots cast as georgia (4.85 vs. 1.32 million)

You need to bring your Georgia knowledge levels to 2020 and do some math then you will get it.. Ga = Pop 10.7 million, 6.2 million of which live in 1 metro more populas than the state of Colorado. Demo rats love big urban centers full of inexperienced, idealistic youngsters, old wealth guilt ridden trust-funders, and poverty stricken dependent classes. In Ga's case this metro area's 2 dominate counties are owned by cheating demorat machine gov's with breaking water lines.

Ga == Illinois. Same dynamics. Atlanta also has the same problems Dallas and Houston do. Welcome to the new world of the Dominant City-State. Let Atlanta be a lesson to us all. Cali in the 90's went through this as well.

From your article:

What might help explain that shift? First of all, the share of people in the Atlanta area who are Asian, Black and/or Hispanic has increased dramatically in the last two decades, and those three groups tend to vote for Democratic candidates.

Take Gwinnett County. It was 67 percent non-Hispanic white in 2000; it is now around 35 percent white. Likewise, Cobb County was 72 percent white in 2000, 62 percent in 2010 and is about 50 percent white now. In part because of those changes in the Atlanta metro area, the share of the voting-eligible population in Georgia that is white dropped from 68 percent in 2000 to 58 percent in 2018, according to Pew Research Center. That drop is the biggest decline in the percentage of white voters in all but eight other states.
"Demographic change is likely a big part of the story, combined with higher participation from some of the faster-growing groups," said Tom Bonier, who runs a Democratic-leaning political data firm called TargetSmart.

And there you have it folks. The motives for DEMWIT immigration policy. Of course those with brains have long known this.

BTW: PEW is a massively lib "think"-tank. TargetSmart my ass.

The fact that Georgia, a state completely controlled by Republicans, with the strongest voter ID laws in the nation, with ballot harvesting banned in 2019 went blue should be a wake up call as to whats wrong with Trumps policies.

But if you keep focusing on the non existent voter fraud issue, fully engage in voter suppression, disenfranchise your own voters, that will just accelerate Georgias shift towards blue as more and more people move to the Atlanta metro area and witness whats going on.

Just like how 8 to 10 years after Arizona Sheriff Arpaio 'show your papers' policy ignited a grassroots democratic machine, that state now has 2 blue Senators.

Amazing how you and your 4 demwit cohorts are digging in. You do know your party in its mindless Anti-Trump zeal is looking dumber by the day. Bidens eco and immigration policies alone are going to wreck the dems just like Carter did with stagflation in the 70's. People are already grumbling.

Oh now explain Florida and Ohio's migration back to red. Ga will do the same. Hell we almost got Pennsylvania again who ever thought it would ever be in play just eight years ago.

Yep Ohio's a lost cause for dems. Economy wise sadly the state is getting worse and worse every year.

And Florida was a good wake up call that focusing too much on black issues can backfire. The GOP doesn't seem like it will lurch far from Trump, so as long as Biden delivers reasonable well, and dems love the job he's done far, Georgia and Arizona might be safe. Especially considering the voter suppression making the news in Georgia every day. Just my opinion.

Nope, didn't go to school in Texas, went to a cold midwest state.

You mean policies that lowered taxes, brought unemployment to historic lows, brought peace deals to the mid-East, secured the border, and raised wages across the board?
Tell me, what's wrong with those policies?
The 'non existent voter fraud issue' was admitted to in the Time magazine article, so you can drop that. You are a liberal, we get that...but stop making **** up and stating it as if it is fact and common knowledge.

You would only know a ballot was fraudulent if you cared to audit and verify if a vote was legitimate. Florida cared, Georgia did not. Stating those numbers does not mean that Georgia's fraud numbers didn't match or surpass Florida's.

Policies that cut tax mostly for the rich, hired the worst people who frequently left calling Trump a '****ing moron', laughed and ridiculed by world leaders everywhere, engaged in nepotism, addicted to Twitter, destroyed relations with our allies, hardly ever did any work, and on and on and on. And of course, spread completely fraudulent election theories that lead to a mob storming the capitol. A disaster for democracy, the constitution, and the united states.

But hey, thanks to Trump an entire generation of younger folks are anti Trump and his policies. Someone has to keep the planets greatest nation on top.
