My wife and I just finished season 5 of "Justified". There is a subtle touch of "Deadwood" alive in this series. The tenuous, coal-mining brotherhood, that bonds Raylan (lawman) and Boyd (criminal), is interesting to say the least. Similar to the shaky common ground that Seth Bullock and Al Swearingen find against George Hearst in the Deadwood series - although I took that for more of a father/son dynamic. Anyway, both great shows.

I don't disagree with much of what is written. If I condense the article, aren't we really just talking about "projection" from leftist (the real extremists), on to ordinary Americans who are troubled with the direction of our society?

I hadn't thought of it in those terms, but yes I would agree now that you mention it. We know the powers that be are fond of using that tactic of projection, as evidenced by the Russia hoax (e.g. the Clintons were up to their eyeballs in illegal money from foreign powers). Ultimately though, we will have to learn it is useless to point out "hypocrisy" because we aren't in a good faith debate, its just power being exercised against our interests and that power feels no need to be logically consistent in their behavior towards us.

And their is where the military comes in. The Democrats know that outlawing guns will not disarm the public for just like any ban that is voluntary, only a small percentage will turn in their guns.

The same happened in Australia and New Zealand where only a small percentage of the population turned in their guns after the were banned by the government.

Military is not drones though, and they live in the same country. Think of what that means. The assumption they would side in all numbers with the new politburo rather than splitting up like Lee choosing Virginia -- may be a mistake.
